What the role involves

• Take leadership responsibility for managing a safe and efficient transport environment.
• To maximise the performance of drivers and supervisors by directing the nightly, weekly and monthly activities.
• Implement actions as directed to reduce or eliminate health and safety related risks.
• Reporting and investigate incidents within the work place and respond to or escalate issues of non compliance to safety regulations and procedures.
• Supervise the adherence of up to date processes, work instructions, standard operating procedures and associated forms to achieve prescribed outputs.
• Monitor performance and where necessary, propose improvements to line manager and implement agreed improvement actions.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant licence, warehouse, driving, stock, or operations experience may be required.

Confirmed role details

• Earn up to £41,318.45 - including a strong base salary of £36,565 plus a 13% shift premium.
• Permanent (Full-Time).
• Nights Sunday to Thursday, 10pm to 6am.
