What the role involves

• In this vital clinical role, you will provide professional nursing support to adults with mental health needs, helping to improve their wellbeing and quality of life.
• Work alongside trained CHAPS staff to support safe and effective medication administration and best practice in medicines management.
• Care planning for individuals with mental health needs.
• Applying de-escalation and therapeutic communication techniques to manage challenging behaviours safely.
• Promoting recovery, independence, and emotional wellbeing through person-centred care approaches.
• All roles will be subject to a successful disclosure at an appropriate level from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) and 2 satisfactory references.

Skills and requirements

• Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) qualification.
• Experience working with challenging behaviours and safeguarding vulnerable individuals.
• Confidence using digital care systems and clinical documentation.
• Able to lead on night shifts when required.
