Nurse Manager

What the role involves
- Provide clinical and operational leadership across the mental health unit.
- Ensure the highest standards of safe, effective, and person-centred care.
- Oversee clinical governance , including audits, risk management, incident reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Develop the nursing workforce, including recruitment, supervision, training, and performance management.
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver positive patient outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, policies, and procedures.
Skills and requirements
- Current NMC registration as RMN, RGN, or RNLD.
- Substantial experience within mental health services.
- Previous experience in a senior nursing or management role.
- Strong understanding and hands-on experience of clinical governance frameworks.
