Pay Rate: £85 – £115 per day
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract: Full-time

GSL Education is looking for Nursery Assistants to join a friendly and nurturing early years setting in Braintree. If you’re passionate about early childhood education and thrive in a supportive, play-based learning environment, this role is for you.

As a Nursery Assistant, you’ll help children explore, learn, and grow in a safe, engaging space. You’ll assist with daily routines, from creative activities to outdoor play, ensuring each child feels valued and supported. The Nursery Assistant will also play a key role in developing language, motor skills, and social confidence among young learners.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support the nursery team with planning and delivering age-appropriate activities
• Promote emotional and physical wellbeing for all children
• Maintain a clean, safe learning environment
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff
• Encourage curiosity and creativity in every interaction

The Ideal Nursery Assistant Will Have:
• A Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare
• Experience working in an early years or nursery setting
• Patience, warmth, and enthusiasm
• A genuine passion for helping children thrive
