Nursery Assistant focuses on assisting in delivering engaging, play-based activities in line with the eyfs framework.

What the role involves

• Assisting in delivering engaging, play-based activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and team members.
• Supporting children’s social, emotional, and developmental needs.

Skills and requirements

• Willing to work towards a recognised childcare qualification (Level 2 or 3).
• No formal qualifications required, but a willingness to learn is essential.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
• Understanding of safeguarding is beneficial but not essential.
