Nursery Manager

Nursery Manager focuses on leading the day-to-day management of the nursery in accordance with company policies, procedures, eyfs requirements, and ofsted standards.

What the role involves

• Leading the day-to-day management of the nursery in accordance with company policies, procedures, EYFS requirements, and Ofsted standards.
• Ensure the nursery provides a safe, stimulating, inclusive, and caring environment where children can learn.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and organisation throughout the nursery.
• Ensure all nursery records, policies, and documentation are accurate, up to date, and compliant.
• Carry out safer recruitment checks including references, DBS checks, and right-to-work verification.
• Act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for the nursery.

Skills and requirements

• 2-3 years’ experience in a nursery management.
• Large nursery setting experience (60+ places).
