Nursery Manager

Nursery Manager focuses on manage all aspects of nursery operations.

What the role involves

• Manage all aspects of nursery operations.
• Develop and mentor staff through coaching, observations, and training.
• Ensure consistently high-quality EYFS provision across all rooms.
• Build strong partnerships with parents, families, and external agencies.
• Overseeing curriculum planning and child development tracking.
• Managing health & safety, policies, and procedures.

Skills and requirements

• Level 3 or above in Early Years/Childcare (UK recognised).
• Proven experience in nursery management or senior leadership.
• Strong understanding of EYFS, Ofsted requirements, and safeguarding.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain).

Confirmed role details

• Permanent, Full-Time.
• 40 hours per week.
• Up to £45,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications).

Additional role context

• Around 40 children & 15 staff members.
• Lead and inspire a dedicated team of 15 practitioners in delivering outstanding Early Years provision for over 40 children.
