Nursery Nurse

As a Nursery Nurse, the work centres on work in line with the EYFS framework, supporting all 7 areas of learning. It would suit someone who can bring warm, reliable, and clear in communication to the role.

Role overview

Big Yellow Door Nursery is a privately run day nursery focusing on the care of infants aged 0 to 24 months. Minimum 3 years' experience within an Early Years setting.

Main responsibilities

Work in line with the EYFS framework, supporting all 7 areas of learning. Provide outstanding care and learning opportunities for children, particularly within the baby room. Build strong, trusting relationships with children, parents and colleagues.

Warm, reliable, and clear in communication.

Requirements

• Paediatric First Aid & Safeguarding Level 2/3.
• Generous fixed holiday periods: 1 week in August, 2 weeks at Christmas, additional leave available flexibly.
• Experience supporting children with additional needs.

Job details

• 4 days a week 8am to 4:30pm (one weekly 5:30pm finish).
• Located in the grounds of a prestigious school the Nursery is well placed to integrate nature into the daily care of their pupils.
