What the role involves

  • Also work closely with teaching assistants and parents to ensure that every child receives personalised support and encouragement.
  • Observing and assessing progress, and tailoring support to individual needs, will be central to your role.
  • Deliver, and assess high-quality EYFS lessons and activities.
  • Supporting children’s social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Promote early communication, language, literacy, and numeracy skills.
  • Create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.

Skills and requirements

  • Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.

Candidate fit

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent EYFS qualification.
  • Have experience teaching Nursery or Reception.
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom organisation and behaviour management.
