Occupational Therapist focuses on delivering occupational therapy assessments and personalised intervention plans.

What the role involves

  • Delivering occupational therapy assessments and personalised intervention plans.
  • Supporting residents to maximise independence through rehabilitation and enablement.
  • Support care staff to implement therapy recommendations.
  • Complete risk assessments relating to daily living activities and independence.
  • Advise on therapy equipment and environmental adaptations.
  • Liaise with community services and external healthcare professionals.

Skills and requirements

  • Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
  • Experience working with older adults and/or individuals with physical disabilities or cognitive impairments.
  • Passion for delivering high-quality person-centred care.
  • Experience within elderly care, rehabilitation.

Confirmed role details

  • 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
  • 7.5% employer pension contribution.
  • Enhanced occupational sick pay.
