What the role involves

  • Carry out Occupational Therapy assessments within the community and home environment.
  • Assess adults with a range of physical, functional, and complex needs.
  • Supporting timely responses to urgent referrals within Adult Social Care services.
  • Coordinating equipment, minor adaptations, and moving & handling solutions.
  • Supporting service users to remain safely within their own homes.
  • Complete strengths-based and person-centred assessments in line with Adult Social Care legislation.

Skills and requirements

  • Minimum 2 years post-qualified Occupational Therapy experience.
  • Previous experience working within Adult Social Care.
  • Experience completing community and home-based assessments.
  • Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can assist).
