Occupational Therapist focuses on carry out occupational therapy assessments within the community and home environment.
What the role involves
- Carry out Occupational Therapy assessments within the community and home environment.
- Assess adults with a range of physical, functional, and complex needs.
- Supporting timely responses to urgent referrals within Adult Social Care services.
- Coordinating equipment, minor adaptations, and moving & handling solutions.
- Supporting service users to remain safely within their own homes.
- Complete strengths-based and person-centred assessments in line with Adult Social Care legislation.
Skills and requirements
- Minimum 2 years post-qualified Occupational Therapy experience.
- Previous experience working within Adult Social Care.
- Experience completing community and home-based assessments.
- Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can assist).
