Supporting triage and reducing duplication between health and social care to manage OT waiting lists. Advising and supporting external care providers on safe moving and handling practices.

Main responsibilities

Delivering safe and timely front-line OT services across the directorate. Reviewing care packages to ensure best value and optimal use of equipment. Assessing and reducing double-handed care packages where appropriate.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
• Experience to Band 6 level or equivalent.
• Local authority experience preferred (NHS also considered).
