What the role involves

• Talk about your own experiences of using health or social care services.
• Help explain key messages in the Oliver McGowan Training.
• Help make people think about how they can give better care.
• Would like to listen to, and positively impact the lived experiences of others.
• Would like to improve services, both for our learning disability colleagues and learning disability clients.
• Would like to work with a lead trainer to improve learning disability awareness, understanding, and practice across the business.

Confirmed role details

• Home based with travel to training locations as required.
• Travel cost- 25p per mile if driving own car or public transport costs can be supported.
• This training helps health and social care staff learn how to support autistic people and learning-disability people in the right way.
• Share your real‑life experiences, help people understand why good care matters, and help make training better for everyone.
