O&M Electrician

O&M Electrician focuses on the selected candidate will carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on photovoltaic installations in accordance with the o&m manual.

What the role involves

• The selected candidate will carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on photovoltaic installations in accordance with the O&M Manual.
• Repair minor faults in low-voltage systems, photovoltaic modules, trackers, cabling, etc., carrying out corrective maintenance tasks as required.
• Conduct visual inspections of system components, identifying faults and defects, and reporting findings to management.
• Inspect electrical components and equipment, including inverters, distribution panels, communication panels, and DC/AC protection panels, in accordance with maintenance manuals and.
• Repair wiring, connectors, terminals, and related components.
• Complete work orders, attendance records, and digital documentation in line with established procedures.

Skills and requirements

• Education in the electrical field or renewable energy.
• BS 7671:2018 (18th Edition) certification.
• JIB Gold Card or equivalent (desirable).
• Additional training as HV Authorised Person will be highly valued.

Candidate fit

• Electrical safety, technical judgement, compliance awareness, and careful workmanship.
