Why this role may suit you

As an IVC Operations Manager within the Organics Division, you will be a key member of the site leadership team, responsible for overseeing daily operations at the IVC site. Lead, motivate, and manage the operational team, including rotas, training, performance management, inductions, and workforce planning.

What you would be doing

Leading health, safety, and environmental performance, including inspections, audits, incident investigations, pest control, and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintaining effective communication and reporting, acting as a key site contact for regulators and stakeholders, and supporting audits, inspections, and community engagement. Overseeing equipment inspections, LOLER compliance, planned preventative maintenance, breakdown response, and accurate maintenance records.

What you need

• Demonstrable supervisory experience within waste management, composting, recycling, or a similar industrial environment.
• Proven experience producing and delivering risk assessments, permits to work, SOPs, and toolbox talks.
• Experience maintaining accurate operational records and extracting data from SCADA or similar automated control systems.
