• Help with everyday skills such as cooking, personal care, budgeting, and household tasks.
• Supporting health and wellbeing, including medication, medical appointments, and healthy lifestyle choices.
• Encourage social inclusion by supporting access to community activities and building meaningful relationships.
• Use PBS strategies to reduce behaviours of concern and promote positive change.

Confirmed role details

• £16.50 PH £80 sleep in rate.
• Support is provided on a 24/7 basis with a staffing ratio of 3:1 in the daytime, 2:1 overnight.
• Work on a rotational Rota basis covering 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend. The role will also include sleep-in duties.
• There is an expectation that the established support team will move with him.

Additional role context

• D is a young man who will be moving out of his children’s residential placement into his new home in Bristol and will be supported on a 3:1 ratio.
• People with experience in supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and behaviours of concern, ideally within community-based settings such as supported living or.
• Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) is a real advantage as well as knowledge of the impact of developmental trauma and experience working in a trauma-informed way.
