Outdoor Education Specialist focuses on delivering engaging outdoor learning activities and practical sessions.
What the role involves
- Delivering engaging outdoor learning activities and practical sessions.
- Promote confidence, resilience and teamwork through outdoor education.
- Supporting students' social, emotional and personal development.
- Adapt activities to meet individual learning needs.
- Maintaining a safe and positive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, teaching assistants and the wider school team.
Skills and requirements
- Experience delivering outdoor education, forest school, Duke of Edinburgh, adventure learning or similar programmes.
- Experience working with children or young people, ideally within education or SEND.
- Excellent communication and behaviour management skills.
- Relevant outdoor education or coaching qualifications are desirable but not essential.
Confirmed role details
- Start Date: September 2026.
- Full Time | Long Term.
- £100 - £180 per day (dependent on qualifications, experience and responsibilities).
