- Provide advice on adaptations to children's environments, such as home or school settings, to support their independence and well-being.
- Monitoring and evaluate the progress of children, adjusting interventions as necessary to optimize outcomes.
- Supporting junior staff and contribute to their development through supervision, training, and mentoring.
Skills and requirements
- HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
- Proven experience working as a Band 6 Paediatric Occupational Therapist , preferably within the NHS.
- Strong clinical reasoning skills and the ability to manage a paediatric caseload independently.
- Experience in providing assessments and interventions for children with a variety of conditions, including developmental and physical challenges.
