• Managing a caseload of paediatric patients with varying needs, providing specialized occupational therapy interventions.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of children's physical, cognitive, and emotional needs to develop personalized therapy plans.
• Work closely with families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care and promote the child's development.
• Provide advice on adaptations to children's environments, such as home or school settings, to support their independence and well-being.
• Monitoring and evaluate the progress of children, adjusting interventions as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Supporting junior staff and contribute to their development through supervision, training, and mentoring.

Skills and requirements

• HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
• Proven experience working as a Band 6 Paediatric Occupational Therapist , preferably within the NHS.
• Strong clinical reasoning skills and the ability to manage a paediatric caseload independently.
• Experience in providing assessments and interventions for children with a variety of conditions, including developmental and physical challenges.
