What the role involves
- Monitors and supervises curriculum-based testing and makeup work as assigned by the certified staff.
- Performs clerical, classroom maintenance, and instructional duties as assigned by the certified staff.
- Demonstrates ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students in the school environment and community.
- Plans instruction techniques and methodologies and prepares lesson materials based on assessments of individual students and their needs.
- Administers assessment tests and interprets results to identify student needs.
- Records and reports assessment data to teachers and school administrators.
Skills and requirements
- EDUCATION: This position requires a high school diploma. An associate’s degree is desired, but not required.
- EXPERIENCE: Experience working with elementary students in a classroom setting is desirable.

- Compensation: $15.78 per hour: 27.5 hours per week/183 Days per year.
- Contributes to the achievement of educational goals by providing additional educational support to students in the areas of math, reading, and other content areas.
