As a Autism Specialist SEND Support, the work centres on providing dedicated 1:1 support to help pupils engage with learning. It would suit someone who can bring we’re seeking a calm, compassionate, and experienced SEND support professional to join a friendly KS1 classroom in Westerhope to the role.
Role overview
Be working 1:1 with amazing 7-year-old pupils with autism and global developmental delay. Patience, empathy, and a steady presence in the classroom.
Main responsibilities
Providing dedicated 1:1 support to help pupils engage with learning. Collaborating with the class teacher and SEND team to deliver personalised learning. supporting learners and helping maintain a positive learning environment.

Requirements
- Ability to adapt quickly and provide consistent support.
- Experience working with children with autism and additional needs.
- Relevant teaching, instruction, or learner-support experience.
Job details
- In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
- All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
