What the role involves

• Support people with care, daily routines, clinical tasks, or wellbeing according to the role remit.
• Follow safeguarding, medication, documentation, or care-plan requirements where they apply.

Skills and requirements

• Free qualifications such as NVQ diplomas and Level 2 certificates in a variety of topics PLUS fully funded City & Guilds qualification in Dementia.
• Personality, compassion and a sense of humour are more important to us than experience, as we will provide you with full training and shadowing.
• No previous home care assistant experience is needed.
• Due to having to travel to clients' own homes, we require candidates to have a UK driving licence and access to their own car.

Confirmed role details

• This is a Part Time position.
• Pay rate of £13.40 (before 6pm on weekdays) - £15.20 (after 6pm and all day on weekends) per hour.
• Double pay on Bank Holidays.
• Paid travel time plus paid mileage.Your pay, whenever you need it - take a portion of your pay early, no need to wait until payday.

• 24/7 on call support and a friendly and supportive office team.

Additional role context

• The care visits will be between 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
• Is for 3 or 4 weekdays plus every other weekend.
• This may also involve providing personal care assistance.
