What the role involves

• Maintain a safe and happy environment in which students thrive and are the best versions of themselves, achieving positive outcomes and bright futures.
• Safeguarding processes, records, actions, culture.
• Therapeutic approaches and dissemination of best practice.
• Assessing, tracking and reporting pupil progress and outcomes and developing and implementing action plans re. SEMH & wellbeing.
• Coordinating with key staff for the benefit of students e.g. SENDCo.
• Maintaining and writing policies relating to pupil welfare e.g. safeguarding, with the support of SLT.

Confirmed role details

• Up to £30,805 per annum DOE.
• Full Time, Permanent.
• Fenton Grange School is seeking an enthusiastic and innovative Pastoral Lead/ Deputy DSL to join a specialist SEMH school.
• Our learners need a creative, engaging curriculum to help them overcome barriers to learning.

Additional role context

• We provide high quality specialist education for up to 20 students, who have experienced trauma.
