What the role involves

  • General: The role will focus on supporting the delivery of cost-effective pavement design solutions that maintain or improve the M25 highways asset in accordance with agreed standa.
  • Preparing designs, reports, specifications and other deliverables to budget and programme, under the guidance of the senior engineer.
  • Delivering schemes in accordance with CPS Quality Management Processes and CPS internal standards.
  • Provide regular updates on the progress risk and technical issues.

Skills and requirements

  • Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a related highways discipline.
  • Working towards or holding, Pavement Engineer Certificate from the Institute of Asphalt Technology.
  • Working knowledge of relevant UK highway design standards, specification and guidance.
  • Experience in delivering schemes, including design, maintenance or renewal of highway pavements on trunk roads, motorways or similar infrastructure assets.

Confirmed role details

  • Will also provide the opportunity to follow through the practical construction Onsite across the M25 network.
  • Review of Traffic Management Plans, Diversion Routes and organise Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders with Highways England and Local Councils.
