What the role involves
- General: The role will focus on supporting the delivery of cost-effective pavement design solutions that maintain or improve the M25 highways asset in accordance with agreed standa.
- Preparing designs, reports, specifications and other deliverables to budget and programme, under the guidance of the senior engineer.
- Delivering schemes in accordance with CPS Quality Management Processes and CPS internal standards.
- Provide regular updates on the progress risk and technical issues.
Skills and requirements
- Degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering or a related highways discipline.
- Working towards or holding, Pavement Engineer Certificate from the Institute of Asphalt Technology.
- Working knowledge of relevant UK highway design standards, specification and guidance.
- Experience in delivering schemes, including design, maintenance or renewal of highway pavements on trunk roads, motorways or similar infrastructure assets.
Confirmed role details
- Will also provide the opportunity to follow through the practical construction Onsite across the M25 network.
- Review of Traffic Management Plans, Diversion Routes and organise Temporary Traffic Regulation Orders with Highways England and Local Councils.
