Payroll Administrator focuses on processing end-to-end payroll activities in line with deadlines.

What the role involves

  • Processing end-to-end payroll activities in line with deadlines.
  • Maintaining and input accurate payroll data (starters, leavers, pay changes).
  • Record and validate time & attendance, absence, sickness, and holiday data.
  • Ensure accuracy of all payroll outputs.
  • Review exception reports, investigate discrepancies, and make corrections.
  • Managing statutory deductions and liaise with HMRC and external bodies.

Skills and requirements

  • At least 1–3 years’ payroll administration experience (essential).
  • Experience using payroll systems (Resourcelink experience highly desirable).
  • Confidence using Excel and other MS Office tools.
