As a PCCU B6 Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse, the work centres on to provide clinical leadership ensuring a high standard of individualised nursing and family centred care is delivered to critically ill children. It would suit someone who can bring warm, steady communication with children and families to the role.

Where ownership sits

Post holders will be expected to work a minimum of hrs per week across days, nights and weekend shifts. Clinical and leadership career development pathways are available.

To provide clinical leadership ensuring a high standard of individualised nursing and family centred care is delivered to critically ill children. To work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, communicating effectively with all levels of medical and nursing staff. To uphold PCCU’s Nursing Philosophy of Care.
