PE & Intervention Coach focuses on supporting the delivery of engaging pe lessons across the primary curriculum.

What the role involves

• Supporting the delivery of engaging PE lessons across the primary curriculum.
• Leading and organise lunchtime and break-time sports and activities.
• Delivering targeted intervention sessions to support pupil engagement and behaviour.
• Encourage teamwork, confidence, and positive participation in physical activity.
• Supporting classroom staff in promoting positive behaviour and routines.
• Build strong relationships with pupils to enhance wellbeing and motivation.

Skills and requirements

• Previous experience working with children in a school or sports coaching setting.
• Strong behaviour management skills and a positive, energetic attitude is essential.
• Ability to motivate and engage pupils of all abilities.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare.

• GSL Education are seeking a dedicated PE & Intervention Coach to work within an inclusive primary school in Sheffield (S12).
• As a Physical Education (PE) & Intervention Coach, you will support the delivery of high-quality physical education.
• Lead active lunchtime sessions, and work with pupils who may require additional encouragement to engage positively in school life.
