Pe Teacher focuses on deliver engaging pe lessons in line with the national curriculum.

What the role involves

  • Deliver engaging PE lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Teaching a variety of sports and physical activities across key stages 3, 4 and 5.
  • Encourage student participation, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles.
  • Monitor, and track student progress in PE.
  • Managing classroom and outdoor activity behaviour effectively.
  • Supervise sports activities, fixtures, and extracurricular clubs.

Skills and requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Education or a related subject.
  • Previous experience teaching PE in schools is desirable.
  • Strong behaviour management and classroom control skills.
