Pe Teacher focuses on deliver engaging pe lessons in line with the national curriculum.
What the role involves
- Deliver engaging PE lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Teaching a variety of sports and physical activities across key stages 3, 4 and 5.
- Encourage student participation, teamwork, and healthy lifestyles.
- Monitor, and track student progress in PE.
- Managing classroom and outdoor activity behaviour effectively.
- Supervise sports activities, fixtures, and extracurricular clubs.
Skills and requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Education or a related subject.
- Previous experience teaching PE in schools is desirable.
- Strong behaviour management and classroom control skills.
