• Delivering high-quality PE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable).
• Inspire students to develop a lifelong interest in physical activity and sport.
• Plan and assess lessons in line with the national curriculum.
• Contribute to the school’s extracurricular sports programme.
• Supporting whole-school initiatives around health and wellbeing.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.

• We are currently recruiting for a dynamic and motivated PE Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Hertfordshire from September 2026 on a permanent basis.
• The school has a strong sporting ethos and encourages participation and achievement at all levels.

Candidate fit

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• A degree in Physical Education or a related subject.
• Experience teaching PE in a secondary setting.
