People Advisor focuses on conduct reference checks for both new joiners and former team members to verify employment details and compliance with company standards.

What the role involves

• Conduct reference checks for both new joiners and former team members to verify employment details and compliance with company standards.
• Maintaining accurate filing and organisation of personnel documents, ensuring all records are up-to-date and in line with company policies.
• Assisting with all aspects of the onboarding process, ensuring a seamless and positive experience for new team members.
• Process DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) checks for relevant team members, ensuring compliance with safeguarding requirements.
• Review and approve people data submissions entered by Park Teams into the HRIS, ensuring accuracy and completeness of team member data.

Skills and requirements

• As a People Services Advisor, you will provide essential support to both our People Team and Park colleagues, ensuring that our people processes run smoothly and efficiently.
• Previous experience in an HR role is preferred, but not essential for the right candidate with a strong desire to learn.
• Excellent written, phone, and face-to-face communication skills. You will primarily manage a high volume of People Team tickets with a lower frequency of calls.
• Ability to organise and prioritise tasks efficiently, while managing multiple activities simultaneously with flexibility.
