Peripatetic Service Manager focuses on provide ‘hands on’ management support and guidance, managing staff activities and influencing their practices and attitudes.

What the role involves

  • Provide ‘hands on’ management support and guidance, managing staff activities and influencing their practices and attitudes.
  • Leading clinicians where appropriate, to provide operational support and direction. Ensuring that performance standards are identified and met.
  • Supporting as required in respect of the statutory responsibilities of the service and Brainkind, with particular emphasis on our aims, values and high-performance standards.
  • To take a lead role, in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team, in the provision of service review and development, ensuring reports are of a professional standard and collate.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to ensure your team remains motivated.
  • Nursing qualification with up to 5 years post qualification experience.

Skills and requirements

  • Relevant leadership, project, operations, people-management, or stakeholder experience is useful.
  • All successful candidates are subject to compliance checks including 3 years of checkable references and DBS/PVG checks.
