Personal Assistant focuses on looking for a pa to support a 64 year old man who has a physical disability with day to day activities including personal care, meal preparation and other assistance around the hom.

What the role involves

• Looking for a PA to support a 64 year old man who has a physical disability with day to day activities including personal care, meal preparation and other assistance around the hom.
• Supporting and/or prompt with personal care. This may include toileting, showering/bathing, getting in and out of bed, getting dressed.
• Supporting and/or prompt with cooking/meal preparation and eating meals/drinks.
• Supporting and/or prompt the individual to take medication.
• Assisting with household chores and general homemaking.
• Develop a good and trusting one to one working relationship.

Skills and requirements

• The individuals needs may vary from day to day and your tasks may reflect this.
• You have a responsibility as an employee to report all accidents to the employer immediately.
• Or hazards which may give rise to an accident.
• You are to ensure the safety of the individual at all times.
