Pharmacist focuses on provide specialist clinical pharmacy support to the intensive care unit (icu).

What the role involves

  • Provide specialist clinical pharmacy support to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
  • Review and optimise medication therapy for critically ill patients.
  • Work closely with consultants, nursing staff, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
  • Supporting safe and effective prescribing practices.
  • Participate in ward rounds and clinical decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with medicines management policies and procedures.

Skills and requirements

  • This is an excellent opportunity for a clinically focused pharmacist with critical care experience to play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care within a fast-paced ho.
  • GPhC registered Pharmacist.
  • Previous NHS hospital pharmacy experience essential.
  • Prior ICU/Critical Care experience highly desirable.
