Pharmacy Technician focuses on providing expert, tailored advice to patients about available medicines, products or macmillan cancer support.

What the role involves

  • Providing expert, tailored advice to patients about available medicines, products or Macmillan Cancer Support.
  • Delivering various services dependant on the store needs.
  • Coaching and inspiring them to deliver the highest standard of care.
  • Assisting with the triage of patients and distributing prescription handouts.
  • Taking ownership for legal, safe and ethical decision-making in the pharmacy.
  • Managing operational tasks including replenishing stock, workload management, order fulfilment, receiving and handling controlled drugs whilst ensuring patient safety.

Skills and requirements

  • Relevant technical, electrical, mechanical, maintenance, gas, plumbing, or engineering experience may be required.
