What the role involves

• Checking pigs daily to ensure access to fresh water and feed, minimising feed wastage.
• Move stock safely in line with standard operating procedures.
• Supporting artificial insemination (AI) following training.
• Monitoring animal health and welfare, reporting concerns promptly to the Farm Manager.
• Monitor environmental controls as required.
• Record medication in line with welfare standards and codes of practice.

Skills and requirements

• Full driving licence.
• Experience with livestock or an agricultural background.
• Ability to operate farm machinery (training can be provided).
