Placements and Internships Coordinator

What the work leans on

To join a dynamic and supportive team, contributing directly to the growth and success of placement and internship provision across the School. Up to 36 days of leave per year (inclusive of bank holidays and University closure days) rising to 41 total days after 5 years’ continuous service.

Administrative work involved

• Managing the full placement lifecycle, from promotion and student preparation through to monitoring progress and ensuring compliance with University requirements.
• A key part of the role involves delivering a high-quality, student-facing support service.
• Provide tailored guidance on applications, CV development and employability skills.

Administrative skills and experience

• Bring excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, staff and employers.
• A graduate (or equivalent) with recent experience in providing placement or internship advice.
• A proactive approach, strong organisational skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities are essential.

Practical details

• Annual incremental increase up to £37,694, with the opportunity to progress to £41,064 subject to performance and the university reward scheme.
