Planner focuses on maintain project schedules, identifying key milestones and critical paths.
What the role involves
- Maintain project schedules, identifying key milestones and critical paths.
- Collaborate with design and supply chain teams to ensure alignment with project goals.
- Prepare tender schedules and logistics plans.
- Assisting in creating short-term schedules.
- Regularly update project schedules to meet operational and commercial needs.
- Provide insights and alternative solutions to project teams and senior management.
Skills and requirements
- Degree in construction or related field preferred.
- Essential experience in house building and planning, ideally with a main contractor on projects up to £25m.
- Experience with NEC and other construction contracts (ICE & JCT).
- Strong commercial awareness and logical thinking.
Candidate fit
- Effective communicator, both written and verbal.
