Job description
This Planning and Logistics Coordinator role is focused on firstly, you’ll be responsible for the planning and scheduling of vehicles to ensure the safe transport of custodies in line with the agreed service delivery. It would suit someone who can bring dependable and self-motivated working style to the role.
Role overview
Obtain Ministry of Justice Enhanced Level 2 Vetting & Enhanced DBS with Child Barring. Using a number of IT applications you will be responsible for monitoring the vehicles and responding to emergency alarms raised by crews.
Main responsibilities
Firstly, you’ll be responsible for the planning and scheduling of vehicles to ensure the safe transport of custodies in line with the agreed service delivery. Firstly, you’ll be responsible for the delivery of the PECS Plan, which means you’ll ensure that the schedule for the movement of custodies is delivered. Work closely with our crews & establishments (Prisons, Courts etc) to ensure custodies are transported on time and in a safe & secure manner.

Requirements
- This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 4, all offers of employment are subject to security clearance checks and approval by the Home Office.

- Ideally, you’ll have previous experience in a similar role, when you have been involved in organising large scale logistics / scheduling plans in a large geographical area!
