Plant Service Manager focuses on overseeing the daily operations and smooth running of the department.

What the role involves

• Overseeing the daily operations and smooth running of the department.
• Managing hire equipment inspections, including Service Red Pen Checks.
• Ensure health & safety standards are consistently followed and safe working procedures are adhered to by all staff.
• Coordinating both major and minor repairs to maximise fleet uptime and availability.
• Monitoring team performance, providing ongoing support, coaching, and development opportunities for staff.
• Ensure all employee training and certifications remain current and compliant.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant leadership, project, operations, people-management, or stakeholder experience is useful.

Confirmed role details

• Up to £65,000 per annum.
• Lead a busy service department which will involve managing a team of 6.
