What the role involves

• Working on hot and cold-water systems, pipework, fittings, and associatedponents.
• Carrying out installations, repairs, and replacements including:Taps, toilets, baths, and showersValves, outlets, and pipeworkMinor plumbing renewals.
• Supporting water hygiene and legionella control activities, including flushing, inspections, basic monitoring, and remedial tasks (training can be provided where required).
• Accurately recording work via handheld devices and job management systems.
• Carry out responsive and planned plumbing maintenance across occupied social housing properties, ensuring works arepleted safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

Skills and requirements

• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent).
• Proven experience in reactive maintenance within social housing or domestic settings.
• Full UK driving licence (clean preferred).
• Basic DBS clearance – must be in place by start date.
