How the role is set up

Working Hours: Monday – Thursday: 08:30 – 17:00 Friday: 08:30 – 16:30 (37 hours per week – flexibility may be required to meet business needs). We are recruiting for a Renewable Energy Policy Analyst to support low‑carbon heat initiatives, with a focus on large‑scale hybrid heat pump trials and energy‑efficiency projects.

What is expected

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a data analyst, research, economist, policy, public affairs, or equivalent role.
• Demonstrable experience producing succinct, structured written briefings.
• Experience collaborating with external partner organisations.

Job details

• Undertake in‑depth analysis of hybrid heat pump performance to support detailed operational reporting.
• 20 days annual leave plus 11 bank holidays, with up to 5 additional long‑service days.
• Regularly review monitoring data from the Hybrid Heat Pump Programme to identify issues and trends.
• Office‑based in Belfast (no home or hybrid working available).
