What the role involves

  • You should be able to provide evidence or personal development and a willingness to undertake appropriate training.
  • 1st Level Registration - Adult Nursing with current NMC registration.
  • Experience in primary care/community setting.
  • Relevant post-registration qualification at post graduate diploma level or equivalent experience.
  • Current knowledge of Leg ulcer management ideally with professional qualification.
  • Experience in and commitment to teaching and facilitation of learning in clinical practice.

  • Relevant care, clinical, support, registration, DBS, or safeguarding requirements may apply.

Confirmed role details

  • From 1 April 2026, the working week for NHS Agenda for Change staff in Scotland will be reduced.
  • Full-time hours will reduce from 37 to 36 hours (pro rata for part-time staff) without loss of earnings.
  • 37 hours per week.
  • The post holder will be expected to work Monday to Friday with a weekend commitment.
