Pre-school Practitioner

The Pre position centres on be a key worker to a specific group of children and carry out observations on their progress and development on a tablet. It would suit someone who can bring this fabulous nursery is looking for an enthusiastic and friendly nursery practitioner to join our 3 - 4 year old team to the role.

Who the work supports

Is 40 hours per week in shifts: rotating between 7.45am - 4.45pm, 8am - 5pm, 8.30am - 5.30pm or 9am - 6pm. They already have a great team and look after up to 18 three and four year olds a day.

How support shows up

Be a key worker to a specific group of children and carry out observations on their progress and development on a tablet. Someone who will enthusiastically take part in all planned activities for the children. Supporting the children with early literacy and numeracy skills through small group activities.

What needs to be in place

• Relevant childcare, early years, or classroom-support experience.

Job details

• Experience working within a nursery setting for 1 year.
• A level 3 qualification in Childcare - level 2 would be considered with the right experience.
• 4 weeks plus 2 weeks off over Christmas and bank holidays!
• A job within a vibrant and successful nursery in Kennington.
