Primary School Behaviour Mentor
Teaching Assistant focuses on supporting pupils’ learning in the classroom, individually and in small groups.
What the role involves
- Supporting pupils’ learning in the classroom, individually and in small groups.
- Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and classroom organisation.
- Provide targeted support for pupils with additional needs (including SEND, where applicable).
- Encourage positive behaviour and promote inclusion.
- Supporting pupils’ emotional wellbeing and personal development.
- Assisting with playground supervision and school activities when required.
Skills and requirements
- Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.
Confirmed role details
- £14.24 p/h - increased if experienced or qualified.
- Full-time & Part-time available.

Candidate fit
- Experience working with primary-aged children (desirable but not essential).
