This Teaching Assistant opportunity in Alum Rock is built around providing targeted support to pupils with SEND, under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO. It would suit someone who can bring patience, clear communication, and a calm learner-focused approach to the role.
Role overview
Be working in Year 4, supporting a child (or children) with specific learning and/or behavioural needs, both in the classroom and during small group or 1:1 interventions. Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated and compassionate level 3 SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive team at a vibrant and inclusive 2-form entry primary school in Alum.
Main responsibilities
Provide targeted support to pupils with SEND, under the guidance of the class teacher and SENCO. Monitoring pupil progress and contribute to reports and reviews. Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.

Requirements
- Relevant qualifications ( Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent) – desirable but not essential.
- Relevant teaching, instruction, or learner-support experience.
