The Primary SEN Tutors position centres on this role involves delivering bespoke education packages to children who may be out of school or require additional support, helping them to re-engage with learning, build confiden. It would suit someone who can bring supporting learners through a calm, structured classroom routine to the role.

What you would be doing
This role involves delivering bespoke education packages to children who may be out of school or require additional support, helping them to re-engage with learning, build confiden. Plan and deliver personalised lessons that meet each pupil’s individual needs, adapting your approach to support a range of SEN, including learning difficulties, ASD, ADHD and SEMH.

What you need
- Experience teaching or supporting primary-aged pupils.
- Qualified teacher status or relevant qualification (QTS, PGCE, EYFS, QTLS or equivalent) – desirable but not essential.
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for one.
Practical information
- Position: Primary SEN Tutor (1:1 Outreach).
- Type of Work: Contract / Temporary.
- Session Length: 1-3 hours per session.
- From £25 per hour (dependent on experience).
