What the role involves

• Delivering engaging, differentiated and motivating lessons that support progress, achievement and equality of opportunity for all learners.
• Prepare purposeful long- and medium-term curriculum plans that ensure continuity, progression and coverage.
• Maintain a positive, well-managed learning environment that fosters high expectations, behaviour standards and constructive relationships.
• Use assessment effectively to diagnose needs, track progress, set targets.
• Provide accurate, constructive feedback using varied assessment methods.
• Supporting the strategic development of the curriculum and subject areas, contributing to policies, improvement plans and whole‑school initiatives.

Skills and requirements

• Relevant teaching, classroom, childcare, QTS, SEN, safeguarding, or early-years experience may be required.
