Principal Civil Engineer focuses on leading project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes that meet client expectations.
What the role involves
- Leading project teams to deliver high-quality outcomes that meet client expectations.
- Managing design scope to ensure projects are delivered within budget and programme constraints.
- Maintain awareness of current industry practices and innovations.
- Leading the quality assurance process for project deliverables, ensuring compliance with standards and client requirements.
- Play a lead role in the development and management of design teams in the Perth office, while collaborating with colleagues across the UK and Ireland.
- Develop and mentor junior staff, providing guidance.
Skills and requirements
- Education Base – BEng degree (or equivalent) in Civil Engineering, or demonstrable equivalent experience.
- Professional Accreditation – Be professionally qualified or working towards accreditation with a relevant body (ICE, CIWEM etc.).
- Technical Knowledge – Have experience working within the water/wastewater industry leading project teams and managing design scope. Experience of multi-disciplinary non-infrastruct.
- Have the flexibility you need to do your best work with hybrid work options.
