As a Principal Designer (CDM) in Engineering, Construction Management, the work centres on act as Principal Designer in accordance with CDM 2015, ensuring legal compliance across all allocated projects. It would suit someone who can bring strong professional approach to the role.

Provide training, support, and guidance to design teams on safety‑in‑design best practices. Required Qualifications & Experience Relevant degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Health & Safety, or equivalent experience.
How the role works day to day
Act as Principal Designer in accordance with CDM 2015, ensuring legal compliance across all allocated projects. Coordinating with the internal Principal Contractor representative to review work methods and support CDM compliance through the construction phase. Plan, manage, monitor, and coordinate health and safety during the pre‑construction phase.
