Principal Electrical Engineer

As a Principal Electrical Engineer, the work centres on ensure the work is in accordance with design standards and codes whilst co-ordinating with the rest of the project engineering teams. It would suit someone who can bring handling site-by-site responsibilities with consistency and care to the role.

How the role works day to day

Ensure the work is in accordance with design standards and codes whilst co-ordinating with the rest of the project engineering teams. Across any major capital project lifecycle, we provide a full suite of solutions from programme and project management, to engineering and design, procurement, construction and pro. Perform the necessary in depth analysis and studies, make professional presentations and keep up with technical advancements.

Practical details

• Wood is currently recruiting for a Principal Electrical Engineer (contract) to work in our Reading Green Park office.
• Will be on a full-time basis.

What needs to be in place

• Experience with Middle East based clients and Projects including Saudi Aramco.
• Experience of site support and construction during EPC phase of projects.
• Familiar with analogue and Digital Control Systems including Power System Automation (PSA), DCS, PLC and SCADA controls.
