Principal Engineer focuses on responsible for the planning, preparation and successful completion of deliverables.

What the role involves

• Responsible for the planning, preparation and successful completion of deliverables.
• Have experience of checking and reviewing technical specifications, reports and technical notes to a high standard.
• Review and comment on design, drawings and specification to ensure timely and accurate results.
• Provide support to develop their knowledge and experience.
• Mentoring of staff to achieve technical solution.
• Assist in the preparation of tenders (programme, cost estimate, resourcing, preparation of written quality/technical input, etc).

Skills and requirements

• Experience working on Ports and Marine design projects.
• IEng qualified in civil or structural engineering – or anticipating achieving this status imminently.
• Have the flexibility you need to do your best work with hybrid work options.
